music friday: pride month special - HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

MUSIC FRIDAY

PRIDE MONTH SPECIAL

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYBODY! really, when i put my differences with summer aside, is there a more cheerful month than the one that celebrates the coolest, sexiest, most fun people on this planet. all the lesbians gays bis trans and whatever Q stands for +. now i realized that i gotta write a blog post and i immediately connected the dots, because to queer people, theres really nothing more special then music (and sex) so it is only appropriate if we dedicate the first music friday in a pretty pretty long time to them!!!! lets begin with something fresh and new... now ofcourse there is noone more relevant for this then madonna, who even did a timesquare performance recently to celebrate pride month and has been very vocal about pride month and is unarguably THE artist who was THE first who supported the lgbtq community. you should really ask chatgpt about that because when i say the first i mean the first and its an insane story. but while there is gonna be like one mention of her, i wanted to focus on newer artists here since madonna is getting her own special once the album is coming out so yeah. now among those artists are

SLAYYYTER

and her new album: WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA  (electropop, electroclash, dancepop, electro industrial)

when i first listened to slayyyter it was around the end of last year and spotify autoplayed one of the first single's of her brand new album "beat up chanel$" and i was immediately intrigued. then i heard "dance" and "crank" and i was like OH MY GOD I LOVE HER. and when the album came out and i listened to it from end to finish i already knew that she is gonna be one of those artists who will hold a special place in my heart. her album opens with the song "dance" and the title speaks for it self. its almost like dance! like you just gotta dance. then crank, beat up chanels, cannibali$m and all these crazy songs come by and when i say crazy i mean crazy good and crazy. like she is just acting crazy on them. emotional songs like gas station, old flings is also a highlight, im actually kinda famous. then comes the last song. the dearest to me. "brittany murphy.". the song is basically talking about her death "you should tell them i was everything, you should say i was..." i just love the lyricism "father please forgive me for all my actions" "is my face too disgusting for an open casket" point is shes already dead here right? anyways its a beautiful song the guitar really highlights its emotional world, and it is titled brittany murphy because if you dont know she died from drugs and stuff and slayyyter herself is pretty experienced with drugs. she lived a life you should really listen to her interviews. anyways since most of her fanbase is lgbtq+ and shes a big supporter so i just had to put her here. also her other albums "starfucker" and "troubled paradise" are also great. troubled paradise is more wor$t girl in amecarish btw and starfucker is just dance pop at its core.
slayyyter on cover of gay times

FUN FACT: L is the first letter in lgbtq as a tribute to the lesbian women who provided care and activism for gay men during the aids crisis. originally it was GLBT. this is so heart touching to me

JESSIE WARE

and her albums "what's your pleasure", "superbloom" and "that! feels good!"

(dancepop, disco, synthpop, electro disco, pop soul)

jessie ware couldn't be more different than slayyyter, she's an older artist, has kids, makes VERY different music. but she's a really big supporter of lgbtq and i love her so i decided to include her.
lets begin in order of her albums:
what's your pleasure is a cunty disco dance album. highlights are ooh la la, what's your pleasure and its really timeless and just so good. also from the platinum edition impossible is a great song too. and let me tell you right now that its enough to look at her music videos to see that she is a big supporter. oyu should watch what's your pleasure, both of its mv's and free yourself. havent seen superbloom mv's yet tho but u could check them out.

that! feels good! is an album that i didnt even listen to completely unlike what's your pleasure and her latest and greatest, superbloom. i only know one song and its called "free yourself" and funfact, its producer stuart price is working with madonna on her new album and the prequel to that album cuz its confessions one and two and stuart price did both. free yourself mv is REQUIRED WATCHING THO. its whats your pleasurey but different. if you loved that you will love this.

jessie ware performing freeyourself

superbloom is SUCH A DIFFERENT DIRECTION FOR HER and i love that she is taking risks and changing her music. it still has disco and dance pop but different. with pop soul. its intimate, its beautiful. listen to superbloom (sharing a title with the album, so listen to the song titled like that) listen to sauna, ride, don't you know who i am and towards the end of the album there are a lot of very personal songs. if you love the ones i said you will love the album.

MADONNA

confessions I and II (disco, dance pop)

madonna was one of the first huge mainstream popstars to openly and loudly support the lgbtq community, especially during the aids crisis when most celebrities were scared to even talk about it. she raised money, spoke about safe sex, defended gay people and put queer dancers, artists and culture directly into her work. she didnt just support the community privately either, she made it visible to millions of people at a time when that was still considered dangerous for someones career. she was literally the first very famous person ever,  to make lgbtq support such a major part of her public image and art. every tour she does she pays respect to aids victims because so many of her old friends died of it. this was a huge risk to take back then.

russian church members burning her picture for being vocal about her support
support goes both ways
her recent time square performance in honor of pride month

now this is all im writing because the confessions special is coming, and heres her new album and its prequel. she broke down a wall for lgbtq, also her discography has way more depth than you'd think. ray of light spiritual, experimental, björkish, erotica is erotic (i mean kindof her whole discography is eroitc) anyways u got my point. from confessions I and II you should listen to hung up, sorry, and from II you should listen to bring your love and love sensation and i feel so free so basically all 3 of the songs out rn.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

ADÉLA: great songs like sexonthebeat and kgb

Fcukers: kinda new and great songs like L.U.C.K.Y.

Troye Sivan: dont really listen to him but he's queer himself and also rush is a cool song and i love the talk talk collab with charli xcx.

well that is the pride month special. happy pride month again!!!

how i deal with anxiety pt. 1

HOW I DEAL WITH ANXIETY PT. 1.:

i realized that i havent made a post dedicated to this and this sortof changed overtime as i made this community. anxiety is such a big challange for me, and it sortof returned in these previous couple of months. which is why im glad that this community feels like refuge for me yet again because there were times when it did not. i think also over time you become somewhat partially immune to anxiety, which i know sounds dumb but is true in my opinion. so i often lay down listening to the ying yang self meditation by charlotte adigéry which i have embeded in my blog SO MANY TIMES already but if u dont know what it is you can look it up. i listen to the instrumental and talk to myself like charlotte does. also if i cannot just lay down and relax i just while whatever im doing just making myself sure. finding solutions for myself. that its gonna be alright. this is the most powerful method. also if you can, just go home, take a big bath, get cleaned up and feel cozy and safe. surrounded by people you love. maybe your cat? comfort foods? this is how i deal with anxiety. so lets say you get really really bad anxiety and you are free so you can go wherever. this is what id do: tell yourself how its gonna be okay why whatever you fear will not happen, why its not true and why you dont have to worry about it. also i forgot this previously but SCALE IT DOWN. you wont die from it, your life will continue which you can always change. get home, take a big bath, eat, listen to whatever you like, cozy up. although i have had a very different aproach previously. i took a regional bus, traveled out an hour to the middle of nowhere, walked out to a field, and layed down with my headphone on. that worked too. the fact that the sun wasnt shining also helped a lot.

also dont laugh at me but for me, this song does anti anxiety wonders. once i will write about how i got to know this song

well thanks for reading, pride month music friday special coming tmrw <3

music friday: ying yang self meditation

the ying yang self meditation is made by charlotte adigéry, bolis pupul and soulwax, 3 artists i love. let me tell you, meditation isnt my thing but this is what ive been listening to recently and you should too. charlotte adigéry is a real artist, with masterpieces in her discography such as thank you, ich mwen, reappropriate, esperanto. in fact she has a whole album full of wonderful songs that you can also find below. charlottte talks about her fears and worrys, we do a very basic breathing excercise, but really its more about the instrumental and what shes talking about, like we are in her mind which resonates with me deeply as i love to do that too. well thats about it about charlotte for now, i might get into tropical dancer in a next post later. also btw tropical dancer has a song called mantra which references the ying yang self meditation in the lyrics and its a decent song so thats something you might wanna check out if you like this

its been a long time. its beginning to look a lot like christmas. music friday

well, i cant believe it. if u are reading this that means I FINALLY POSTED SMTH? long time... the last 50 ppl that joined prob dont even know the blog exist hahaha. oh well. so much has been going on. idk if im going on the way up or just standing in one place but i know im trying. i still didnt get over the whole friendship thing but it seemed easy for them. but whatever... i dont even know what im writing about i just still feel so tired and scared and those are the two best words to describe what im feeling. and anger. i just... sometimes cant symphatize with people and you know how i always said i have this "my problems dont matter cuz other people have bigger problems" mentality in me cuz of my parents? and how much i hate it cuz my problems matter? well thats how ive been feeling towards other people with what i classify as smaller problems. and im just jealous. i cant help it. and then one of these ppl is my friend what do i do? pretend symphaty? idk. its beginning to look a lot like christmas. a depressing one too. christmas is material. im material. whats the problem then. well that im totally broke guysss i cannot continue this life like this im trying to go up maybe its just too slow i mean i detect a few changes but they are so minor i just need a sign that im going in the right direction is that so much to ask for?

music friday

guys the listening party was so cool. im so glad it happened. for this post i came with a curated playlist of the best of the songs i recommended here and ones i havent cuz the posts got scrapped. + the other playlist with yall's recommendations. love ya <3

hi guys, first post in a long time, MUSIC MONDAYYYYYY!!!

kay guys so yall will not believe what just made me finally write this post. i was playing an ai or human game (humanornot.so) and i tried to get someone to join and idk, they just visited the blog and somehow that made me wanna write this. sooooo. yey. a lot of stuff was going on and know we are mental health oriented but its pretty emberassing rn, and the last post was very mental healthish so lets let this be what it is.

music monday

so ive got two recommendations for today but really the only one that i can talk about is is charli xcx's new single "house" or relatively new anyways. i love the lyrics, love listening to it you should def check it out, and it will be on a movies soundtrack that im also very excited for so YAY. the chorus is just "i think im gonna die in this house" and it has lyrics that have a lot of meaning in it so its def what i like to listen to

just another random recommendation:

and thats all thx for reading <3-

music monday, why i couldnt pay attention to the minecraft server and the usual

yall i know im late again whatever. i dont even know if anyone reads this anymore so if u do then like give me a sign cuz yeah idk ive been missing so many posts that id litterally understand why noone cares.

so what should we begin with? stuff that i write in every post or music monday. if you dont care you can skip this but i just realized im the same person that people like step on and i cant let that happen i wont care how many friendships its going to take cuz real ones will understand THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TREAT ME LIKE SHIT HOE. anyways than theres this certain person that gives me the most mixed signals ever and really is just such an asshole anyways. ALSO ive been studying A LOT. working on my future i think? anyways yeah, thats what i will do after this post: learn physics. so far im at a b avarage cuz i missed a week of school and was behind on everything and i litterally had to learn like 6 subjects in the previous 3 days.

MUSIC MONDAY (late yet again, i should replace monday with something else but i wont)

STUFF YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO (now)

1. she's not me by THE QUEEN OF POP MADONNA (there wasnt a bigger font)

I JUST WANNA BE THERE WHEN YOU DISCOVER YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING NEXT TO YOUR NEW LOVER. YALL HAVE THAT ONE FRIEND THAT COPIES YALL THEN THIS SONG IS FOR YOU (i have that one friend too tho we are both male so this song doesnt really apply BUT STILL IM LIKE I RELATE HOE)

God Control by Madonna (TW gun control)

You know that its serious when i type like a normal human being. actuaally, no i cant continue this but this song is a really serious one and i recommend listening to it. it not only blends being experimental with the 80's disco vibe, its a new era of the queen of pop bringing awareness to something new and i was just... i remember when my life was with this album MADAME X and i will write a post about it probably... but if its not obvious its about gun control and its not something i can relate to because its a way bigger issue in the US but it still talks to me and not only the lyrics its just how can someone 35 years into their career at the time release something so new and different and i dont even know what to say. YES, I WILL FINISH LEARNING AND WRITE THE POST ON MADAME X! i recommend this album idk yes there are cringe parts but i think its worth it. okay i rethinked it and not sure about the madame x post now but we will see.

 1. born this way by lady gaga

also sorry for the disgusting color choises i have no idea how to undo it this looked cool in my head

THIS ONE IS FOR ALL THE GAY, LESBIAN, BI WHATEVER PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY (cuz i know theres a lot of that in there) and like this is such  a good song. too bad she copied it off madonna's express yourself  cuz yall should look up the lady gaga-madonna beef she even copied her this year with the concert in rio and i just feel so bad listening to gaga. anyways GREAT SONG its about accaptance and lgbtq stuff and like saying u were born this way and u shouldnt feel bad for having sex with man or women or anything inbetween <3

school + music monday II

SCHOOL

well yall school started and idk if anything gonna change this year... i mean i will try. u know i have newer better friends and a bit of confidence now- i wont let these hoes fuck my future up and wont leave the ppls i care about alone. so yh im here im fucking back and thats all. also according to my friends i had a glow up over the summer?? omg yall thats like crazy (tho i really had one) but its not like im a fine shyt rn its more like i got rid of that chopped ass haircut and finally have clothes that a decent human being would put on their body. anyways. oh my god after i wrote this idk wtf just happened but i had this wave of uncertanity again thinking about the future - what if i die and its all for nothing or the world collapses and society ceases to exist as we know it today? and idk why i just had this feeling again. anyways thats about school. ALSO SORRY FOR BEING INACTIVE THIS WEEK I WAS JUST REALLY STRUGGLING.

MUSIC MONDAY YALL

kay so this week of mine was litterally full of music as i was just litterally so afraid of starting school and stuff but yeah we are here and my taste hasnt changed a lot since last week. there are new songs different songs but idk if i will have any new artists or genres. anyways lets stop the yappery and get into it.

jewels n' drugs by lady gaga ft t.i. n too $hort

i listened to this one a lot. its basically about rejecting materialism and taking love so that she'd rather want fun and love over money. okay now this isnt me but i just like the sound of the song like im litterally so materialistic but yhhhh. cool song worth checking out. the song is on artpop (2013) which i talked about last time but im going to talk about it again cuz i just explored more tracks on it.

venus by lady gaga

this song is about sexuality and love, a common theme in lady gaga's music. its not named venus by coincidence. if u paid attention during history lessons u know that venus is the roman goddess of love. its weird cuz in artpop mythology and sexual themes are pretty common. anyways its a very weird song, experimental, not at all radio friendly and thats all i gotta say about this one.

jealous type and need to know by doja cat

this is a new release pretty popular too its basically about being jealous in ur relationship. yeah. need to know is about attraction and love too but i like that one a bit more idk.

the hills by the weeknd

this one is prob the most popular of all the releases here. yeah its about... idk listen to it. im tired of writing so much. artpop is like a deeper album and more interesting TF IMMA WRITE ABOUT THESE.
i wont even embed the spotify whatever here cuz many of yall use apple music or other services anyways and im just lazy.

okay i also listened to many songs that i also talked about last time. something i still really like is sexxx dreams by gaga idk... its just so... different and explores themes of true love and like im in a catholic school but never had anything against people with different sexual orientations and its just such a special song. then also g.u.y. and remember how we talked about mythology in artpop? g. u. y. starts by referencing gods and whatever. idk. thats all thank yall for reading <3

music monday

hey yall i decided that on mondays im going to share what i listened to during the week so yh this the list. also i will write about the songs/albums/artists

1. one word by kelly osbourne.

so yh we are starting with a weird one. this song (made by ozzy osbourne's daughter r.i.p.) is.... idk def a weird one. i guess it talks about comunication and the complexities of human desire. "silence tells me all i need to know" blablabla. its also about the concept of madness and what really solidifies this is not only a few lines, but that shortly after the song's release the singer was litterally in rehab. this was released in 2005 and it sounds a lot like that too. like i just downloaded it onto my ipod ahahahaha. anyways great song, worth listening to it.

2. bad romance by lady gaga

this timeless masterpiece needs no introduction (i hope) thats why i wont be talking about it that much. its basically about being in a shit relationship but also wanting to fuck but like its... like A BAD ROMANCE. u know, the title. also released in the late 2000's. fav part is defienetely the "walk walk fashion baby" then the "i want your love and i want your revenge i want your loveeee I DONT WANNA BE FRIENDS" and then the rest but thats part french. anyways yh, good song.

3. ARTPOP also by lady gaga

so artpop is a special entry here becuase its an album. okay also theres a song on the album titled after the album but this is about the whole album. released in 2013 artpop was defienetly the lowest part of lady gaga's career. it was too edgy, experimental and except for like 1 or 2 promotional singles NOT AT ALL RADIO FRIENDLY. the album explores themes of sexual desire, sex, physical intimacy and a bit more sex so its basically about sex and love but more about sex. okay i'd be lying if i'd say that because we also talk about fashion, fame, applause, materialism and stuff like that. its edgy, its risky and a bold move by gaga after releasing two banger, giant albums such as the fame monster and born this way. but also, its even better when it comes to aging. honestly, there are many 2010's elements but it just aged pretty well overall. here are tracks i love on the album:

sexxx dreams: its about gaga having a sex dream about one of her friends. so like u know. pretty simple to explain but really good song.

applause: its about gaga loving to be in the spotlight. period.

donatella: tribute track to the one and only donatella VERSACE 💜 iykyk

fashion: about fashion

artpop: love

g.u.y.: girl under you. thats litterally what g.u.y. stands for. ive got nothing else to say

MY FAVORITE OF THE ALBUM 👑

while not being officially on the album, this single was intended to be on there, but unfortuanatly a collaborator (r. kelly) was a bit contreversial so was removed of the album. now theres a christina aguilera version on streaming.

Do What U Want. its about being in love but not wanting to give ur mind or ur heart to them because theyd just break it, and instead ud get physical. "you cant have my heart and you wont use my mind but do what u want with my body..." while also having real feelings for them.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

envy the leaves by madison beer.

party 4 u by charli xcx

skin the collaboration remix by madonna

cry for me by the weeknd

john wayne by lady gaga

okay yall thats it thx for reading <3

meeting up with friends, working out, insecurities, silence between songs

hey guys. today has been an eventful day, and probably one of the greatest i had in a long time. i mentioned that friend group that has that one unwanted person in it... well we just hanged out and he didnt come, and i felt really good ngl. i also met another person called kata, shes a pretty nice person. we had lots of fun. although i had this commitment like a week ago that i'd work out every day and... well i didnt. anyways [removed part about insecurities] anyways i also discovered this album called silence between songs like a week ago by madison beer and ive been listening to it non-stop... its really great. anyways back to my insecurity,i feel so bad that i might actually work out today and tomorrow and actually try from now on. only sometimes i forget and break my streak and lose courage... anyways i'll do it right after i finished this episode of the witcher (the last one) and i might not so if u see this and read this please dont stop bothering me until i work out😭 thx for reading <3

(edit)

i never thought of madison beer as an artist, but this album changed my perspective about her work.

FUN FACT:  i just realized that this blog is basically unviewable from a  smartphone. like not unviewable but u have to like move the page so it fits ur screen, sry about that. a web designer recently joined our server, hope she doesnt see this lol.

also, silence between songs cover looks really cool... it just gives me a nice feeling too... idk...
